A CURSE CAN
BE A CURE
BY DANIEL ESKAROS
Went from staying out late and going crazy
To being at home and feeling lazy
Used to be tired in class
Now I'm tired of seeing my city collapse
I wanted to hangout today
Instead I had to stay 6 feet away
Instead of feeling down and sad
Be thankful for your loved one and stay glad
Make sure to wear a mask
And the virus will be over in a flash
Take this time to relax and chill
And I promise summer will be a thrill
Don't be shy, go check up on your friends
Soon you guys can go swimming when this all ends
Speak to your family and have a long talk
When this all ends you can enjoy the Coney Island boardwalk
I hope this virus gave us all something to learn
Wash your hands and it will never return
An Old Arabic Saying Says : “في بعض الأحيان يتطلب الأمر لعنة لعلاج مدينة بأكملها”
Which means, Sometimes it takes a curse to cure an entire town.Take this time to spread awareness and teach people about how to stay safe and how to properly act in times like these. Stay Safe and Stay Smart, We Will Get Through This !
